Liverpool had an awful time at Villa Park as Jon Moss and Martin Atkinson (on VAR duty) denied the Reds over and over again.
The hosts took the lead through a goal that looked like it could have been offside, but it was given, and Bobby Firmino thought he had brought us level before half-time, but it was ruled out.
They say third time is the charm, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took a shot in the second half and it clearly struck a Villa defender’s hand as his arm bends back! But, yet again, it was denied by the match officials.
