Pep Guardiola made an absolute show of himself at Anfield on Sunday night as his Manchester City side were humbled 3-1 by Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were clinical, and took their chances, but there were a few questionable decisions that involved VAR that the Spaniard didn’t like.
The first was the ball striking Trent Alexander-Arnold’s arm in the penalty area, but it was ruled that the defender’s arm wasn’t in an unnatural position.
That was when the cracks began to show in Pep’s composure, and the City boss was furious at the full-time whistle as he sarcastically thanked the match officials.
He also extended his sarcastic thanks to some Liverpool players – a complete lack of respect, if I’m honest.
