Darwin Nunez sent Liverpool fans into absolute raptures with a 99th-minute winner against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors appeared to be running out of time and ideas when, in the ninth minute of stoppage time, the home side failed to clear from a corner and Alexis Mac Allister crossed for the Uruguayan striker to divert a header past Matz Sels.
The 24-year-old even appeared to kick a pitchside hoarding as he raced over to celebrate with the jubilant away supporters, chased by his ecstatic teammates.
On a day when two points were on the verge of slipping away, that goal could prove to be one of the biggest moments in Liverpool’s season.
