Allan Rodrigues de Souza gave Liverpool fans a glimpse into the future with a winning goal for Brazil Under-20s in their 2-1 victory over France Under-20s yesterday.
The 19-year-old forward showed impressive strength to hold off his defender, and then flicked the ball between the goalkeeper’s legs with his left foot for a cheeky finish.

We signed Allan from Internacional last September, and he has been out on loan in Finland with SJK and Sint-Truidense in Belgium to help him qualify for a UK work permit.
The Echo reports that the teenager is thought of highly by Jurgen Klopp, and that his next loan move could be to interested clubs in France, Spain or the Netherlands.
Allan was representing his country in a warm-up tournament in South Korea ahead of next year’s U20 World Cup. He is the only European-based player in the Brazil squad.
Hopefully this sort of international exposure might help speed up Allan’s eventual return to Liverpool, where many of us are awaiting his arrival with great anticipation.
