Hodgson inherits the expectations of some deluded fans who think that Liverpool can challenge for the title in 2010/11. Yes, they exist, and I’ve heard from them.
If he takes Liverpool higher than 3rd, I will be absolutely amazed. If he wins the title or, within two years, the Champions League, he deserves to be knighted.
