I sure hope the rumour linking us with coloccini is bs, i remember a couple of seasons ago when Newcastle got relegated especially the match at anfield that we won 3 – 0 he was static in defence, no interest in the match whatsoever. In my opinion i think he’d be a flop!
Chris. Only a rumour and not happening. If the Reds go for another CB it will probably be Gary Cahill at this stage! That will be funded with Joe Cole and Alberto Aquilani almost certain sale to the Clubs they are currently on loan with. I have a feeling this might just be Carra’s last season!
IMHO, it won’t be carra’s last season, he’ll take a back-up role like Sami Hyypia did before his last seasons arrives.
Last season as a first team regular yes, but he will be around for many years yet. YNWA
