Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher ramps up the pressure on Louis van Gaal and Manchester United…
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has piled the pressure on under-fire Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal this week, by claiming that star goalkeeper David de Gea is a near certainty to leave this summer.
United were knocked out of the FA Cup by Arsenal on Monday evening, while the Reds are rapidly closing the gap on their old foes for fourth place.
With Van Gaal extremely unlikely to win any silverware this season, and with Brendan Rodgers’ in-form side breathing down his neck, it could be a very unhappy summer at Old Trafford.
One of the Red Devils’ few saviours this season has been their Spanish goalkeeper, who has won them a countless number of points with some exceptional saves in a whole host of games.
However, Carragher believes that his departure could be the latest nail in Van Gaal’s United coffin this summer, as European Champions Real Madrid prepare to swoop for the 24-year-old!
Madrid need a new keeper De Gea wants to win trophies no brainer.
