Jan Molby (Denmark)

The winner of 11 major honours during his time with Liverpool, including three first division titles and three FA Cups. The Dane edges out the likes of Dietmar Hamann and Javier Mascherano for this spot in the team.

Dirk Kuyt (Netherlands)

The scorer of 71 goals in 286 games for Liverpool, the Dutchman struck for the Reds in the 2007 Champions League final, but had to work until 2012 for his only piece of silverware with the club – the League Cup.

Steve Heighway (Republic of Ireland)

The iconic winger just gets in ahead of Luis Garcia, and makes it two Irishmen in the team. The scorer of 50 goals in 329 league games for the Reds, and the winner of five European titles, including two European Cups.
