He’s looked good over the last couple of games and should get another start here. He’ll want to keep the positive momentum going in order to help him secure a starting spot for next season. Still has a point to prove this season.
LAM) Raheem Sterling
The youngster was back to somewhere near his best against Chelsea last weekend and it’s important that he maintains that momentum against what is, on paper, lesser opposition. Needs to pick up the ball and run with it.
ST) Rickie Lambert
He’s started the last two games and we see no reason that he won’t keep his place. He’s been decent this month and there aren’t many other options available to Rodgers. He’s already scored against Palace this year as well.
