Liverpool have agreed to allow academy full-back Ryan McLaughlin to join Aberdeen on loan until January.

The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international, who enjoyed a brief spell with Barnsley last year, is yet to feature for the Reds’ first-team – but has done enough to earn himself another year to try and make his mark.

McLaughlin will join another Liverpool player, goalkeeper Danny Ward, at the Scottish club – who have won four out of four games in the Premiership thus far, conceding just one goal in the process.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Samed Yesil could also be sent out on loan before the transfer window closes, joining the likes of Sheyi Ojo, Harry Wilson and Joe Maguire in gaining first-team experience elsewhere.

The 21-year-old, who was one of Brendan Rodgers’ first signings as Liverpool manager back in 2012, is reportedly wanted by Swiss side FC Luzern – who finished fifth in the top division last season.

Lazar Markovic, who we linked with Watford this morning, is now set to join Fenerbahce – as the report states.
