Liverpool striker nears exit – meets with Turkish club president

Liverpool striker Samed Yesil is continuing to edge closer to a move away from Anfield.

The young German forward – who was at one time considered to be one of the hottest prospects in the academy – has not been offered a new deal by Klopp.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Trabzonspor had been in touch with the striker, and according to a source close to Turkish-Football.com he has now held talks with the side’s president, Muharrem Usta.

We signed Yesil when he was just 18 in a £1 million deal back in 2012. At the time, he was rated as one of the brightest young talents in Europa – but a series of serious knee injuries hindered his development.

He then spent last season on loan at Swiss club FC Luzern and made 16 appearances, scoring one goal.
