There was a period of last night’s match where Liverpool mercilessly played with Everton like a cat holding onto a mouse’s tail.

Liverpool fans at the ground were absolutely loving it, hollering ‘Olé’ at every completed pass.
In truth, we took our foot off the gas at 4-0, and it’s lucky for opponents that we did, as it could have been a far more convincing result.
