While £15m does seem an awful lot of money considering what Jordon Ibe’s so far done in his career, it’ll seem like nothing should transfer fees continue to balloon they way are and the winger go even some to fulfilling his potential.
With regular first-team football and slightly less pressure, he might be able to do that with Bournemouth.
Some supporters think we’re robbing the Cherries of their money, while others – smartly – hope we’ve inserted some kind of buy-back clause into the arrangement.
For £15m, we’d be surprised if that proved to be the case.

Shame it didn’t work out for Ibe. Had such high hopes for him but I feel this move is best for both parties. £15m is a great deal for #LFC.

Jordon Ibe is a rather frustrating player. Has speed and directness but his decision-making is not good. £15m is… ? #lfc #afcb

If Jordon Ibe gets the experience (and continues to get decent coaching) he’ll be worth far more than £15m.

Ibe needs the right coaching & the right experience at this stage. He’s going to struggle for the experience at Anfield. Good move for him.

£15m for Jordon Ibe is a great deal for us. Hope there’s a buy back clause though, still has potential. #LFC

Potentially getting £47M for Benteke, Ibe and Skrtel is incredible business.

£15M for Ibe is phenomenal. We’ve rinsed Bournemouth. I feel bad for them.

I want Jordon Ibe to stay. If we do unfortunately sell him, hope we add a buy back clause.

Ibe to Bournemouth is hotting up Reports that a £15m pound bid has been accepted. Personally would ask for more and insert a buy back clause

Selling Ibe for £15M and getting Kuba in for £3.2M would be phenomenal business.

Jordan Ibe, a man who was built up because Liverpool fans hated Sterling and hit the post against Everton.

Gutted for Ibe. This lad has lot of potential. Definitely turn as a Bale in future ??? #LFC #Ibe
