Martin Skrtel has officially signed for Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The news will come as no surprise after the defender was pictured at Istanbul airport holding a club scarf a couple of days ago, but the move has now been finalised.
His new team confirmed the news via their official Twitter account:

The no-nonsense Slovakian centre-back joined us back in January 2008 from Zenit St Petersburg and went on to make 320 appearances and score 18 goals for the club in and eight-year career.

He won the League Cup in 2012 under the guidance of Kenny Dalglish and played in 36 our of 38 league games when we nearly won the title in 2014.
In Fenerbahce, he is joining a side that finished second in the Turkish top flight last season.
