Michael Owen is supposed to an ambassador for Liverpool Football Club.
Despite the fact he left the club on the cheap after running his contract down and eventually signed for Manchester United – we appointed him in the role earlier in 2016.
It went down badly with Reds at the time, and following this tweet sent out last night, it’s looking an even more ridiculous decision.
Owen decided to pin his United colours to the mast following their 2-0 victory over Southampton – and naturally it went down horrendously with Liverpool fans…
Here’s his original tweet and some of the replies.
What a fool.
It looked good on paper and it looks good on grass too. Pogba class. The Premier League title is heading to the North West this season.
