At one point, they were all in the England team together, but today Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and former Manchester United stalwart Gary Neville went toe-to-toe on Twitter about who had the best right-foot: Steven Gerrard or David Beckham.
The argument was started by an article in the Times, which listed a number of Three Lions greats from past and more recent past.

Since Carragher’s tweet, Liverpool, United and fans of clubs everywhere in between have been fighting it out.
While Beckham did have an undeniably sweet right-foot, his penchant was for longer passes or whipped balls, while we’d suggest Gerrard’s right had more strings to it.
Perhaps we’re biased. In fact, we probably are – but that’s ok!
