Roberto Firmino loves a nut-meg, doesn’t he?
Former Liverpool man Raheem Sterling was the Brazilian’s latest victim as he was caught out as the pair tussled for the ball at the corner flag.
Firmino could have got himself a free-kick had he gone down but chose to stay on his feet before taking his opportunity to humiliate the Manchester City man in front of his old fans.
It’s been a tough start to the game for Sterling. Every touch has been booed by the home fans and he is yet to have any luck up against the ever-impressive James Milner. Long may it continue.
As for the Reds, it’s been a fantastic start with Jurgen Klopp’s men leading thanks to a brilliant headed goal from Georginio Wijnaldum.
Let’s face it though, City have been pretty dreadful for most of the half. We aren’t complaining. Keep this up Reds.
