It looks like Mamadou Sakho will finally depart Liverpool, with Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace trying to sign our out of favour Frenchman before the window ‘slams’ shut.
This is according to Sky Sports, who recognise that we want a permanent sale and will not accept a loan deal having already rejected Southampton’s approach for one last week.

Many Reds would have liked Jurgen Klopp to reintegrate Sakho back into the squad, but the German hasn’t given him a single appearance all season and the best we can now hope for is a tidy transfer fee.
