Manchester City refusing to do business with Liverpool

There’s been countless stories linking Joe Hart to Liverpool and other Premier League clubs over the past few months, primarily because the England no.1 has been frozen out and sent to Torino on loan for the campaign.

Pep Guardiola didn’t rate him and decided to bring in the calamitous Claudio Bravo in his stead – enough to show Hart he has no City future – at least while the Spaniard’s at the helm.

Liverpool have had our own goalkeeping problems with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius proving inconsistent at best, while Chelsea could be interested should the superb Thibaut Courtois join Real Madrid in the summer.

But ClubCall exclusively claim that the Citizens will flatly refuse to sell the 29-year-old, who’s on £130k/week, to a top flight rival – and will only consider offloading him further down the league.

This rules ourselves and Chelsea out, while he obviously wouldn’t join Manchester United either.

In fairness, we’re not sure there’s any legitimacy in stories linking Hart to Anfield. Rightly or wrongly, Jurgen Klopp seems more than happy with his current options, refusing to lay blame at their doorstep when criticised and repeatedly backing their corners. Hart’s a pipe-dream, but Mignolet and Karius are here to stay.
