Jamie Carragher has laughed off suggestions Everton will become genuine challengers following their £90m spending spree, which has seen them bring in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Sandro Ramirez and Davy Klaasen.
Yesterday, Keane – previously linked to Liverpool – completed his £30m switch to our city rivals, but Carragher isn’t at all threatened by their purchases, and he doesn’t think Jurgen Klopp will be either!
Our manager is enjoying the end of his holiday in Ibiza before he’ll return to England for Liverpool’s pre-season, which starts this week.
