LFC’s likely XI v Hoffenheim: Klopp readys Reds for mega clash

Posted by

Due to injuries, Liverpool’s starting XI for this absolutely enormous clash against Hoffenheim virtually picks itself.

Simon Mignolet is the no.1, and although he didn’t cover himself in glory exactly on Saturday, he should keep his spot.

With Nathaniel Clyne injured, Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right-back, while Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip were paired at centre-back. We reckon though that in this massive fixture, Jurgen Klopp will pick the safer option of James Milner at left-back over Alberto Moreno.

The rest of the side will surely remain the same, with Coutinho and Adam Lallana unavailable in midfield.

Daniel Sturridge may feature on the bench, but the front-three will also stay the same.

Hopefully, this team will have enough to defeat the tricky Germans.
