Against Spartak Moscow in the Champions League tomorrow evening, we’d actually pull Roberto Firmino out of the lineup and instead give Daniel Sturridge a start.

The Brazilian covers an incredible amount of ground and looked a little leggy on Saturday against Leicester, while Sturridge impressed greatly when he was introduced from the bench.

This way, Firmino can return to the team for the away trip to Newcastle at the weekend.

Sturridge is a superb finisher and we should take advantage of the fact he’s fully fit right now.

With Sadio Mane returning, our frontline still looks exceptional, with the goalscoring Mo Salah playing from the right.

A Mane/Salah/Sturridge front-three enables in-form Coutinho to drop back into a creative midfield position, making up a central three which could include Jordan Henderson and Emre Can.

Joe Gomez is suspended, meaning Trent Alexander-Arnold will play at right-back.

Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip must partner each other centrally, while we’d select Andrew Robertson at left-back and bring Alberto Moreno back for the St. James’ Park trip.

In goal, Loris Karius is the Champions League stopper.
