A report is doing the rounds this morning which is suggesting Liverpool are interested in Wolves youngster Morgan Gibbs-White.

The IBTimes cover it, suggesting a £5m fee could get a deal done for one of the stars of England Under-17’s World Cup win.

Gibbs-White scored in the final, helping England defeat Spain 5-2.

However, Arsenal and Spurs are also keen on the teenager, who can play as an attacking midfielder or a long striker.

Rhian Brewster won the Golden Boot at the U17 World Cup with 8 goals.

The standout players for England were Manchester City’s Phil Foden, who in truth, looks special, and our own Rhian Brewster – who top scored with eight.

We’re hoping Brewster will thrive in the U23s this term and may get some chances on from the bench in the FA Cup, perhaps.

Morgan Gibbs-White is a talent too, but claims he’s happy at Wolves.

“I feel privileged to be part of such a big club. The players that the manager has brought in are unbelievable,” the youngster told BBC WM.

“To play with some of these amazing players is really good for my development and I can build off them.”
