Finally, after months of outrageous, public tapping up; which included featuring Coutinho in a Barca Secret Santa and the club announcing his transfer on the Nike website, Liverpool have decided to do something.

According to ESPN, we had decided on taking legal action, but oddly, the media outlet has recently retracted that statement.
Their report was predominantly based on a Telegraph article from the respected Chris Bascombe, which suggested Liverpool’s hierarchy were outraged by the recent Nike leak and will actively make any transfer for the Catalans very difficult – meaning very expensive.
Liverpool fans have been furious and embarrassed by the manner in which Barca and their media outlets have already treated our no.10 as their player – but thankfully it’s not gone unnoticed by FSG.
Our owners stood firm in the summer, despite the Brazilian’s transfer request, intimating they’re not going to change their stance in January.
Regardless of the propaganda, no deal has been accepted. No deal is done. We continue to wait and hope.
