Jon Flanagan today pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend in court.
The Liverpool defender admitted hitting Rachael Wall 03:20 GMT in Duke Street, in Liverpool city centre, on 22 December. BBC News has claimed that the 25-year-old will be sentenced later this month.
Flanno is way down Liverpool’s pecking order and would only be used by Jurgen Klopp if we faced a very dramatic injury crisis – and fans have called for him to be sacked following the incident.
We’re not sure this would be the case with Mo Salah, Coutinho or one of our best players, but in fairness, that’s not the issue in question.
Where do you stand, Reds?
Not good. Think the player should be released personally. https://t.co/kWsozomOOa

Flanagan should be sacked there really if he's pleading guilty to that.

Flanagan pleads guilty to beating a woman. That’s not too brave is it? Whatever the judgement is, @LFC should release him and make sure he’s never allowed anywhere near the club again.#LFC pic.twitter.com/cI3Q29XtkP
