This is a crazy statistic!
Mo Salah is level with Christian Benteke on 18 ‘Big Chances Missed’ in the Premier League this season.

But while the Belgian, a former Red, of course, has notched just TWICE domestically, Salah is on 22!
So if he’d have scored his missed ‘big chances,’ the Egyptian would be 40 PL goals by now! If he’d have scored just half of them, he’d be on 31 – Incredible!
In fairness, Salah does miss opportunities… Sometimes he rushes his shots and doesn’t look confident on his right-foot, but the 25-year-old is simply incredible at getting into the right position.
We’d argue, as we suggested in the tweet, that Salah is maybe the best player in the world right now at creating himself scoring opportunities through clever movement and runs either into the box later or behind the defence.
He’s absolutely incredible at it.
And long may it continue!
Most Big Chances Missed in the PL This Year..
Think it's fair to say that Mo is the best player in the world at getting into scoring situations. Would be on 40 PL goals so far if he'd taken all big chances! 😂 pic.twitter.com/mraERRm155
