Jamie Carragher has spoken more about the unsavoury incident in which he was filmed spitting out of his car after Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
The Sky Sports pundit was travelling after the match and was being abused by a United supporting road user when he lost it, wound down his window, and spat in his direction.

The saliva though hit a 14-year-old girl who was in the passenger seat, although Carra says he couldn’t actually see her when he made the foolish decision.
“I didn’t to be honest, she was leant back. I wish she wasn’t involved. I hate that she was involved more than anything,” he said, cited in the Mirror.
“I’ll speak to the family again. I’m sorry. I’ll apologise again today properly.”

We don’t know if this is true but we’d imagine it is. When you watch the video, you can’t see the daughter because she’s leaning back so the driver can get a view of Carra with his phone.
He’s then milked the situation and sold the clip to a tabloid newspaper.
The fact he’s done this after filming himself committing a blatant road violation confirms that he’s a complete idiot.
