Mohamed Salah scored his first Liverpool hat-trick on Saturday as the Reds cruised to a 5-0 hammering of Watford at Anfield.
The Egyptian completed his treble in Lionel Messi-esque fashion, producing a succession of sharp twists to fool multiple defenders before expertly finding the bottom corner.
Salah had scored his brace by half-time, opening the scoring in the fourth minute with a sublime solo effort before latching onto Andrew Robertson’s inch-perfect cross just before the interval.
His second and third sandwiched Roberto Firmino’s 23rd goal of the season across all competitions – assisted by Salah himself.
To top off a remarkable day, the summer-signing notched a fourth after meeting the rebound from Danny Ings’ saved short.
In the latest instalment of his exquisite first season back in England, Salah went four goals clear of Harry Kane as the Premier League’s top scorer with 28 as well as becoming the first Liverpool player to score four goals in a game since Luis Suarez against Norwich in 2013/2014.
