Last night, he started on the bench due to an infection in his toe, but came off it to score England U21’s winner in classy style against Ukraine.
The movement is exceptional for a centre-forward and so is the header, actually. Harry Kane-esque!
Solanke hasn’t scored for Liverpool yet, but won the Golden Boot as England U20s secured the World Cup last summer.
The fact Jurgen Klopp doesn’t want to buy Timo Werner so that he can blood Solanke and Rhian Brewster (Echo) speaks volumes about how highly the youngsters are rated at Anfield.
