Liverpool fans were kind enough to line the streets outside Anfield to welcome Manchester City’s bus in this evening…
As well as boos, there were a few things thrown, but nothing too over the top. The club can likely expect a fine though, to be fair.
Our visitors have dropped Raheem Sterling from their starting XI and are using an extra midfielder in Ilkay Gundogan, by the looks of it.
Hopefully, Liverpool’s team will be able to provide enough of a threat of our own that their midfield cannot dominate possession.
Bring it on!
City bus arrives at Anfield. A few cans, flares and bottles thrown at it. The smashed bottle (which you can see towards the end of the vid) nearly landed on my head, which would’ve served me right tbf pic.twitter.com/NgMep0LAhP
