It’s looking like both Andy Robertson and Mo Salah will be fine for the Champions League tie with Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The pair missed today’s drab Merseyside Derby through injury, with fans nervous throughout that they’d still be sidelined for our trip to the Etihad.
But the Echo have released the good news that barring any complications, both will start in three days’ time.

All LFC fans are saying the same thing about Gini Wijnaldum…
We badly missed the clinical finishing Salah provides today, but also the overlapping runs and linkup play Robertson has become known for.
There was a distinct lack of spark in the final third, but that will be injected when Salah and Roberto Firmino return to the starting XI to partner Sadio Mane in attack.
We think the side will look something like this:
Likely XI: Karius; Trent, Robertson, Van Dijk, Lovren; Wijnaldum, Ox, Milner; Salah, Mane, Firmino
City are going to pose an enormous threat, but with our best team out, we can find the back of the net at least once. One goal and they need five. That should be the plan.
