Dejan Lovren has been quality in 2018.
He played a massive role in helping Liverpool to qualify for the Champions League Final and has been a rock in Croatia’s defence throughout the World Cup.
On Wednesday evening, he pocketed Harry Kane and knocked out England, having previously put in stellar performances throughout the competition, including against Lionel Messi and Argentina.
A clip has emerged of Lovren showing the nasty streak that’s helped him to another level, as well!
We’ve all seen him barging Kane off the ball, but he dealt with his Tottenham team-mate Dele Alli very differently.
In the clip, which you can see here, Lovren tells Alli to: “Jebat ću ti mater u picku,” which roughly translates as, “f*ck your mother right in the p*ssy”!
Obviously this kind of thing goes on all the time on a football pitch, but it isn’t necessarily something we’ve ever associated with Lovren, who’s seemed unsure of himself in the past.
But he’s undeniably a confidence player, and if this shows a newfound sense of belief, then we’re all for it!
