(Video) Salah doesn’t appreciate Ramos’s shoulder touch at UCL Draw

We can imagine the organisers of tonight’s event knew exactly what they were doing when they put Sergio Ramos directly behind Mo Salah in the seating plan…

Both players were up for an award, but it was the Spaniard who collected UEFA Defender of the Year before the Champions League Draw was made.

As he returned to his seat, Ramos gave Salah a friendly tap on the shoulder, but Liverpool’s Egyptian blanked him and continued to stare straight forward.

We don’t blame him. Ramos ended Salah’s Champions League Final back in May with a cynical foul that saw the Egyptian depart the field in the first-half. After his exit, Liverpool lost momentum and eventually the game.

Ramos also elbowed Loris Karius, giving the German a concussion, which was potentially to blame for his two mistakes, as well.

The centre-back has made countless comments since the Final about how bitter Liverpool are, so we’re delighted with Salah’s conduct. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to gain our revenge in the latter stages.
