Nabil Fekir’s failed transfer to Liverpool over the summer was very frustrating at the time for fans and the player himself.
The club decided to pull out of a deal at the last minute because of a knee issue which showed up during his medical – much to the surprise of everyone – especially considering leading journalists had announced that the transfer was finalised.

Fekir went on to win the World Cup with France, but has started this season quietly, potentially steel feeling the effects of the window’s strangest saga.
“What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page,” Fekir said, per The Express. “We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted. My future? We have not discussed an extension yet, we will see what happens.”
In all likelihood, Fekir will get a move at some stage, though we’d be surprised if that was to Liverpool.
The 25-year-old failed his medical at the end of the day, so unless the fee gets lowered to something that’s undeniably a bargain, we can’t imagine Liverpool will try again.
We hope Fekir does get a big move though, although it would be hard to see him succeed at a fellow Premier League club.
