Liverpool took the lead against Spurs today thanks to Gini Wijnaldum’s headed goal from James Milner’s corner.
We needed the help of goal-line technology, but the ball was clearly over the line.
It was actually the Dutchman’s first away goal in the Premier League, including his season at Newcastle.
Liverpool started the game well, but lost their way after 20 minutes and it took the goal to get them out of a rut. The effort was Wijnaldum’s first of the campaign, although Milner needs congratulating for the dangerous set-piece in the first place.
