Dom King: Klopp will make this key midfield change v PSG

Posted by

This one will likely go down badly with many fans, but we can see why it makes sense.

According to Dom King in the Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp will bring Jordan Henderson back into his midfield this evening.

We cannot see the boss dropping evergreen James Milner or in-form Gini Wijnaldum, so it’s likely Naby Keita who’ll make way.

Keita also sat out the win against Leicester with Hendo playing, and we think the same side that started at the King Power will do so tonight, providing Roberto Firmino’s eye issue is sorted.

The likely XI will be as follows: Alisson; Trent, Robbo, van Dijk, Gomez; Hendo, Gini, Milner; Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Henderson was brilliant at Anfield in Europe last season and we see no reason why he won’t run the show this evening.

Despite the fact he’s barely played, Hendo is for some reason in some people’s bad books again, but it’s ridiculous. If Klopp trusts him, everyone should too.

If we need Keita from the bench, he’ll be ready, too.
