Klopp ‘Will Move’ for potential superstar if parent club give ‘Ok’ – Spanish Journalist

There’s been an update on the Ousmane Dembele situation, although not from the most reliable source.

Spanish journalist Miguel Rico has claimed in Mundo Deportivo that Jurgen Klopp ‘will move’ for Barcelona’s starlet if the Catalan club allow his exit.

What Dembele did last night left Liverpool fans gobsmacked…

Dembele isn’t an automatic starter for Barca and there’s been plenty of questions regarding his attitude since he moved to Spain from Borussia Dortmund for crazy money in 2017.

The Frenchman’s talent is ludicrous and we’d suggest that in terms of potential, the only young player with more on the planet is PSG’s Kylian Mbappe.

Dembele, in terms of attributes, has it all. He’s equally as good with both feet, ridiculously quick, skilful, creative and can shoot.

Under Klopp we reckon the 21-year-old would thrive, as most talented, speedy attackers do.

Of course, if Barca want anything near the price they paid for him, Liverpool wouldn’t be interested – but if we can get him on loan with a reasonable future purchase option – maybe the unlikely deal could happen.

The thought of Dembele starting on the right of Klopp’s 4-2-3-1 formation is mouthwatering, in short.

Imagine this XI going into the second-half of the season: Alisson; Trent, Robbo, van Dijk, Gomez; Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Dembele, Mane, Firmino, Salah.

Not bad!
