Liverpool have snared Lee Nobes from Manchester City, according to Training Ground Guru.
Nobes has been working as Head Physio for the Sky Blues recently – and has been with our rivals for 11 years altogether.
Following City’s victory over Manchester United at the weekend though, Nobes said his goodbyes to the squad and will join Liverpool officially on November 26th.
Liverpool have been in need of a new head physio since the departure of Matt Konopinski, who left us to take up a role with England in September.
You can actually see plenty of Nobes in the City documentary All or Nothing, if you want to get to know him a little better!
This term, we’ve had a number of short-term injuries, but nothing long-term to a key player…
Obviously Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been absent since April, but thankfully our squad has largely stayed healthy.
Following this upcoming international break though, the busy Christmas schedule will begin and we’ll need a full bill of health in order to keep pace with City.
