High-flying Wilson outlines plan to reunite with Trent and Gomez next season

Harry Wilson is flying in the Championship with Derby County – but he is hoping to return to Liverpool next season and continue scoring goals for Jurgen Klopp, alongside his mates Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The 21-year-old Welshman has scored goals at every level he’s played at – including scoring twice in Derby’s win over Swansea City yesterday, with one sensational long-range strike – and is doing everything he can to make it with the Reds, where he has been at since he was nine.

Wilson told The Mirror: “To to be learning from a legend like Frank Lampard is fantastic. I’m soaking up everything he’s telling me. It’s going really well.

“I’ll be looking at Trent and Joe hoping I’m playing with them next season. It’s nice to see young lads doing well but when it’s your mates you have grown up and played with it makes it even better.”

Keep scoring at the rate he is, and Klopp will have no choice but to give him a chance. It would be great to see Wilson added to the squad next season.
