With the summer transfer window now open, and the Reds looking to sign a versatile attacker capable of filling in all across the frontline, many names have been popping up in gossip columns and on rumour sites.
Former Manchester United man Memphis Depay is one of those who has been mooted as being a target, having scored eight and assisted eight for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season.
The 25-year-old Dutchman had a very tough time at Old Trafford, but then so did Mo Salah at Chelsea. Given the Reds were interested in Memphis when he first came to England, it seems like a rumour that makes sense.
As these replies to his tweet involving Gini Wijnaldum show, Reds fans are quite keen for it to happen.
You better be at Anfield next season

Whether Jurgen Klopp does want Memphis or not remains to be seen, but we’d certainly back a move for him.
The only question mark would be over his attitude, which has been questioned at times in the past, but Michael Edwards and the scouting team have proven they are capable of doing the due diligence on players before.
One thing is for sure: if Klopp does want him, both Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk will put in a good word!
