Inside Football – relaying information from Le Parisien – report that Liverpool and Benfica have lodged bids for highly-rated Paris FC striker Silas Wamangituka.
At 19-years-old, Wamangituka’s educative season in Ligue 2 for the capital club has developed his raw ability, but we’re not entirely sure the Reds would be after him to be honest.
Scoring eleven goals in 32 league appearances for Paris FC, the Congolese forward has also found his name on the lips of Ligue 1 clubs Toulouse and Marseille, as well as Club Brugge and Galatasaray.
The latter, however, have apparently started to turn their attention away from Wamangituka.

Now, its Benfica and Liverpool who are seemingly making concrete moves to try and land the young prospect, though it remains unclear whether these are official bids or simply opening proposals.
While the Reds and the Portuguese heavyweights seem to have played their hand, Marseille are reported to have made an offer of €6m as well.
There, we were linked to him along with a host of clubs that even included PSG and Barcelona.
With Rhian Brewster to come into the side, we’re not really sure this move makes any sense so we’ll withhold any deeper analysis of Wamangituka for the time being.
