LFC to meet with Man Utd target’s agent for second proposal, according to Portuguese media

Liverpool are set to meet with Bruno Fernandes’ agent in London to talk about a second proposal being made for the services of the Sporting Lisbon man.

The midfielder has attracted the attention of Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Metro.

The Reds are looking to scupper their rivals’ chances of signing the Portugal international – and that’s according to Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha (via the Metro).

United are also due to sit down with Miguel Pinho when he touches down in London, but Liverpool are hoping that offering youngster Rafa Camacho in the deal may sweeten it for Sporting.

Camacho made his professional début for Liverpool against Wolves in the FA Cup earlier this year and made a cameo appearance in the Premier League just a few weeks later.

The teenager may want to move away from Anfield in search of more regular first team football; something that Bobby Adekanye has recently made clear he’s interested in.

Camacho still has a year left on his contract with the Reds and the club’s hierarchy may not be in any rush to move him on.

He proved himself during pre-season, where he performed well as an improvised full back, but it remains to be seen if he’s in Jurgen Klopp’s plans going forward.
