Liverpool’s Rafael Camacho is set to sign for his old club, Sporting Lisbon, in a move that will take him back to his homeland of Portugal to relaunch his career.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola (via Sport Witness) now believes Rafael Camacho’s transfer from the Reds to the Lions is pretty much agreed – and it may be announced before the weekend.
The same report claims the young midfielder turned down the chance to sign for Bundesliga outfit Schalke as he sees his old club as the perfect place to bounce back.

It’s thought that Camacho will sign a five year deal, and Liverpool will demand £10million for the player, but payments to the Reds should be expected in instalments.
The Reds are a little anxious over the fact that the midfielder has just a year left on his contract at Anfield, but are also expecting a percentage on any future sale of the Portuguese starlet.
Camacho made his professional début for Liverpool against Wolves in the FA Cup earlier this year and made a cameo appearance in the Premier League just a few weeks later.
