Renowned journalist Dominic King, of the Daily Mail, has claimed Liverpool have no interest Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
This news comes just as the Reds announce that Champions League hero Divock Origi has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
Also worth categorically saying now that Liverpool have absolutely no interest in Nicolas Pepe. For all the stories that are coming from the continent, it is not a deal that will be happening.

Bayern Munich and PSG are also thought to hold an interest in Pepe, but the Daily Record claim the Ivory Coast winger would prefer a move to the Premier League.
It’s entirely possible that the Reds’ name is being used to drive up any potential transfer fee for Pepe, and journalists close to club believe it’s going to be a quiet summer.
Liverpool could use some reinforcement up front as Daniel Sturridge left the club as his contract expired at the end of last month.
The Ivory Coast international is an accomplished left-footed right-winger, like Mo Salah, so it’s intriguing why we’re even supposedly in the conversation for him.
I’d take any new reports linking Liverpool with the Ivory Coast forward with a huge pinch of salt – Dom King’s word carries a lot of weight, and if he claims the Reds aren’t interested then I’m inclined to believe him.
