Mo Salah was involved in the most bizarre story of the weekend as he was leaving Melwood on Saturday afternoon.
Louis Fowler, 11, and his brother Isaac, 10, were outside of the training ground when Salah was driving away. As they chased after his car trying to get the winger to give them a wave, Louis accidentally ran into a lamppost, knocking himself out in the process.
Salah came back to check that Louis was alright, and later had his photograph taken with the pair.
@MoSalah thank you for coming back to check on my boys after Louis KO’d himself trying to get a wave! He loves you so much and the pain went away instantly when you came to give them a hug. A nose reset worth well worth it he said. You are a top man and a true gent! #EgyptianKing pic.twitter.com/wrmHc4vxB9

Louis was treated at Alder Hey hospital and today both brothers appeared on ITV show This Morning to relive the experience alongside step-father Joe Cooper.
According to Birmingham Live, Louis said: “I had a really bloody nose. Someone took me home back to my front garden and I just saw Salah’s car by our house.
“I was still spaced out so I didn’t really know what was happening, but he got out of his car and posed for a picture. He was like ‘Why are you running like that?’.”
Louis jokingly said that Salah had given him a telling off for his antics, but says it was all worth it for a photo with his hero! Louis’ nose is now fine and he says the pain went away immediately when Salah came back to speak to him.
It’s a story he’ll be able to tell for the rest of his life!
