Mo Salah has reiterated his desire to stay at Liverpool for a long, long time.
The no.11 was speaking in length about his unhappiness with the Egyptian federation, but made sure to explain how he feels about his life on Merseyside.
“I’m happy at Liverpool,” Salah told CNN’s Becky Anderson. “I’m happy in the city — I love the fans and they love me. I’m happy at the club.”
Since signing for Liverpool in 2017, Salah has 72 goals in 108 appearances – has played in back to back Champions League Finals and scored in our victorious one a few months back.
He’s undeniably one of the greatest players on the planet, and at 27, is now entering his peak three years as a footballer.
By 2022, we hope Salah can help secure us at least one Premier League title, which will further cement his already legendary status.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have been great for Mo, but he’s been just as wonderful for us…
To think, we acquired him for £34m [BBC Sport] – a ludicrously cheap sum for someone who’s worth over five times that already.
