Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Man City has been rescheduled

The Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield has been rescheduled to the 10th of November, the club has confirmed.

The game was originally set to take place on Saturday the ninth, but Sky Sports will still be showing the game live on TV.

It’s handy that the club has announced this so far in advance to allow fans travelling from far distances time to sort out their plans.

The fixture at Anfield is set to be one of the biggest games of the season, as both Liverpool and City were involved in a two-horse race in the Premier League last season.

Come the end of November, the fixture may help to decide who will be on top of the table come Christmas – as that’s always a marker that people use.

Of course, the Reds were in the winter last season, and City went on to claim the title, but historically it’s a fantastic position to be in as the team at the top of the tree tend to win the biggest domestic prize of all.

A positive for Liverpool is that start goalkeeper Alisson Becker will be well back in time for the clash against our title rivals.
