Absolutely class from Joe Gomez, this!
Towards the end of the game, Jurgen Klopp brought on the Englishman to solidify our backline – and he did very well – helping Trent Alexander-Arnold down the right.
Raheem Sterling was causing chaos, but Gomez kept him quiet and had no time for the City winger’s moaning after a coming together between the two, either.
Sterling was visibly frustrated, under some bizarre illusion that his team were robbed, when the reality was Liverpool totally outplayed them at Anfield.
We’re eight points clear of Leicester in second, but probably more importantly, nine clear of City.
Sterling really tried it with Gomez. pic.twitter.com/cbK9rf0wr2
