(Video) Mac Allister’s underappreciated pass against Everton; not ball for second goal

Alexis Mac Allister’s pass to Darwin Nunez in the build-up for our second goal has been widely replayed but it wasn’t the only moment of brilliance from the Argentine during the match.

The former Brighton man had the ball deep inside our own half and played an inch-perfect midfield-splitting low driven pass to Mo Salah.

The way in which the ball was weighted is enough to want to watch it over and over again.

It seems clear that our No.10’s long-term future for the Reds won’t be in the No.6 role but if he can keep playing sublime passes from deep positions, then there’s plenty of reasons for us to enjoy watching him playing there.
