Our injured keeper Loris Karius could be ready for the next stage of his recovery next week.
According to a post he made on Twitter, the wires are almost ready to be removed.
Getting better day by day! I’ll slowly return to training routine, once the wires have been removed next week!✌?@LFCpic.twitter.com/ISlzPOaRu3

Karius broke his hand after a freak collision with Dejan Lovren in our pre-season loss to Chelsea whilst on tour in the USA.

He was originally ruled out for up to ten weeks – giving him a return date of mid-October – but recent murmurings have appeared to suggest he could be ready to return after the September international break.
His injury has allowed Simon Mignolet to have one last reprieve between the sticks. He was unable to do much about any of the three goals we conceded against Arsenal or the two against Burnley, and Klopp will undoubtedly have a selection headache once our new signing is fit again.
